You most likely know and heard me say this alot throughout my blog posts and website that sandblasting will allow you to achieve the best looking etched glass pieces. Yes, to get set up its going to require a bigger investment, but its worth it if your looking at doing this often. I created a video of the very basic steps to use a sandblaster for etching your glass.
You might see that I don’t use a very good sandblaster nozzle, but it work quite good enough for this basic pattern. To get artistic, you want to look at a PAB blaster gun. I myself have not used it yet but hope to soon. I’ll make a post soon on the different nozzle setups that you can use.
But here is the video. Its kind of a terrible video, but you get the point. I filmed it by myself, so it was tedious to look out for every thing and get it all setup.
