Recently one of my buddies wants to decorate his basement with a MLB Cincinnati Reds theme, so he asked me to etch the bar mirror and a bunch of beer mugs with the logo.
He was asking about which way to etch, because you can etch the black areas of the original logo or do a reverse etching. By the way, this can all be done easily with free solutions in the glass etching secrets ebook. Basically you can etch the white areas or the black areas in your just doing a one stage etching.
So I offered to show him an example of what each would look like. The one below is an etching on the original black areas of the logo.

Where the photo below is an etching of the reverse logo or the white areas of the logo. I think this one looks much better, don’t you?
