One other glass skill that I would like to get into is stained glass. Then maybe I could create something interesting with glass etching techniques and stained glass. That way it will add a little color. I know alot of glass etchers do work with stained glass too.
As in the article at myabsurdlife.com it talks about appreciating stained glass art at church. And you don’t have to be a church person to observe all the hard work and detail that goes into creating the stained glass artwork. I agree with the article that it is an amazing piece of work, especially when the sun shines through. Pure beautiful!
I’ll try to get into this soon. Anybody know of a good book to pick up to learn it? Maybe I’ll try a stained glass workshop. We’ll see where it takes me. More on that update soon.
