About Sandcarving Book

Posted on April 13, 2012 by Eric Robert Posted in Questions About Products, Etching, & Sandcarving

Hi Eric,
I have been etching/carving for three years. I am self taught, but my items have turned out well. I enter the State Fair of Oklahoma every year since I started carving and have won first place every year. I have just been asked to do some windows in Mike Gundy head coach for Oklahoma State University football team. He is building a new 4 million dollar home, so I am honored to be approached to do this job. I am contacting you because I am teaching and some of the students are want to get their own equipment.

Sandcarving topics covered in the ebook and members area.

I have dealt with Harbor Freight for over 10 years, so I turn the students in that direction. My question is about the gun for a pressure pot. I paid big bucks for my PAB tank and gun and understand someone starting out not wanting to lay out that type of money. Glasstar is way over priced on their equipment also. I tried to watch the video that you sent the link for in your last news letter email, but could not open it. I would purchase your book, but the only Internet I have is on my phone and it is hard to read email much less a book. If you sell paper copies, please let me know.

From reading your emails, we have a lot in common. I cut corners where I can and like to pass these shortcuts to the students. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
Ernie

Hi Ernie,

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. It sounds as you have some exciting projects.

I do cut corners in the cost game with equipment, but always look for the best ways possible, while still being professional. I actually made my own PAB blaster and will be writing plans for my members area.

Sorry, but the information is only in the e-book format. The video you were talking about is here: https://www.glassetchingsecrets.com/blog/sandblast-etching-video/

I also made another video about techniques that you can use here.

Feel free to share your work with our group.
