Mix Up Glass Arts

Posted on February 2, 2010 by Eric Robert Posted in Blog Content 2 Comments

There is no doubt that glass is an interesting medium to work with.  It always appealed to me with its beauty.  More importantly, you can do a lot of cool, creative things with it, which can go farther than just practical glass etching techniques.  So what else can you do with this hobby?

Try mixing it with another glass art such as stained glass, engraving techniques,  or glass painting.  Even though most of the etching processes that I will  blog about are extraordinarily unique and elegant, they can be worked into an even more fabulous mixture of glass art.  Below is a picture of a mixture of engraving and light sandblasting techniques.

Pretty neat isn’t it?  It is very basic, but it’s just one type of idea that you can use to mix up artistic glass techniques.  Create something interesting, and let me know about.  Leave a comment below.

Morteza, did you subscribe to the newsletter?

If you did, you should get the free pdf. If you just don’t want to subscribe, thats cool- I can send it over.

The other way just makes it easier for me.
