Post Sandblasting Cabinet Drawings?

Posted on December 14, 2010 by Eric Robert Posted in Blog Content 2 Comments

Sandblasting cabinet from a self made drawing.Q: Can you post drawings to build your own sand blasting cabinet?
A: I recently wrote the plans and drawings which are included in the members area here. You can see my home made sandblast cabinet in the photo. Although it doesn’t look the best, it works great for what I use it for.

There are dozens of ways to make these with multiple kinds of materials. For mine, I welded angle metal for the frame. Then I cut sheet metal for the doors and welded hinges to them. Scrap glass is placed on the top and back side to get maximum light in. Others recommend having a dark background so you can see what your frosted white etchings better, but I created a stand and painted it black. I used a wooden board for the front because it was easier to cut the round glove holes out with my Rotozip.
