ROCTEC® Composite Carbide Nozzle Tips for Sandblasting

Posted on December 1, 2017 by Eric Robert Posted in Blog Content 7 Comments
ROCTEC nozzle

ROCTEC nozzle available in 1/16″, 3/32″, or 1/8″ ID

Made of a composite carbide material, the ROCTEC technology is one of the longest lasting sandblasting nozzle tips to hold up to aggressive abrasive like aluminum oxide and silicon carbide.

  • Long lasting nozzle saves you hundreds to thousands of dollars.
  • Holds blasting performance so you can carve deep and quick at all times.
  • Reduces likelihood of stopping in the middle of blasting your project to replace the tip.
  • Recommended for glass etching, sandcarving, or any project using hard abrasives.
  • See the video showing them here.

More Info:

  • Select between the three popular inner diameter (ID) bore sizes: 1/16″, 3/32″, or 1/8″
  • Sizes usually perform well with many regular 2 horsepower air compressors. View compressor charts first.
  • We sell ROCTEC nozzles at one of the lowest prices in the industry. Other outlets charge $180.

Reduced Price here: $153.99

The link that brought me to this page said the tips were 129.95 but this page says 145.00. What do I need to do to get the 129.95 price?

Dave, sorry about that. The manufacturer recently raised the price quite a bit and we actually sold some of them at less than our cost. We are still trying to keep them at a competitive price- the MSRP is a much higher costs with some retailers selling them for $180.

Can you please let me know where the old page still lists the old price so I can update it?

    Thank you

the link came from the page titled “Best Economical Sandblaster Nozzle Tip for Long-Life & Performance”. Also, could you tell me the dimensions of the tip. ie. diameter OD and Height.

I want to upgrade from ceramic nozzles. Will I need to adapt my setup to accommodate the different size nozzles since mine are 3 3/4″ long tapering from 1 1/8″ to 5/8″?

@ Jeff, you can use our nozzle holder shown on Amazon here http://amzn.to/2Bkf5Do and swap the ceramic with the ROCtec.

You may have to use a reducer coupling if your fittings are larger than 3/8″ NPT threads. If you send details and/or photos of your fittings via email, I may be able to provide a coupling so you can convert it to this.

Hi Eirc, I’m wanting to buy 4 of the 1/6” roctec nozzle. Was wondering why shipping goes too $26 from $8 when I buy one when they will be shipped all in one package?
My sand is carbide & working on a big project. Just trying to save money.
