Art Glass Spotlight

Posted on May 17, 2012 by Eric Robert Posted in Other Pages

The Art Glass Spotlight featuring artists each week. Free promotion for your glass art. The admins, Eric Robert and Matt Reed of the Facebook group decided to create the Glass Artist Spotlight which would feature a new glass artist each week. They can showcase their favorite work each week showing off photos and descriptions of how it was worked.

This is a cool opportunity because it gets everyone maximum exposure each week for their amazing glass art. And by being a member, everyone can easily help each other by leaving comments of encouragement and by hitting the Facebook Like Button. Since it can be hard to get good recognition for your skilled art, this is now designed to help people and to learn from each other.

I have included a button at the bottom of each post (snap shot shown below) so that everyone can hit and share. This not only creates good Karma, but also promotes a great environment of glass artists helping each other out. Throughout the year, you can see all the added posts for the Glass Artists Spotlight with a link to each of them.

Glass art promotion for spotlight week.

An example of the Facebook Like button that everyone should hit: . Lets try to get over 100 Likes for each artist post each week!

To be included for the Glass Artist Spotlight, please email me a short article explaining you art glass with information such as:

  • Your name
  • Your Glass Art
  • How you did it
  • How someone else can do it (tutorials or walking us through it
  • What processes were used
  • How large it is or its weight
  • Or anything that would help others

The information is up to you and it shouldn’t be hard to write something up quick. You are passionate about your art glass, right? So it shouldn’t be hard to write some information about it. These are all just some suggestions. Just be sure to included some helpful information and photos that would spark some interest with your other glass artists or fans.

Note this is for glass art newbies and students in training too that want to get feedback and encouragement. I hope to make this a strong and supportive community, with everyone helping each other out.
