Seiki Vinyl Cutter Review

Posted on November 21, 2011 by Eric Robert Posted in Blog Content 3 Comments

Question about the Seiki Vinyl Cutter Plotter for creating stencils and my response with a review:

A Sign Warehouse vinyl cutter plotter is better than a Seiki for this industry.I have two of your downloads and just think their the greatest. I am looking on EBay for the cutter-plotter, and I was wondering if you would advise me on the SEIKI 34″ FLEXI 10 CUTTER PLOTTER? It’s a “BUY NOW” FOR $309.99 AND $54.99 s&h. I need one now and can’t wait for an auction. I would like to know, what do you think of them? I’m new to glass carving and need one to start carving and not for a Business. Thanks, Art

Hi Art,

Thank you for your purchase.

I haven’t tried the Seiki brand, but I have heard some bad things about them being cheap and all. I’d recommend any UScutter brand that I talked about in the info book over them.

Lately, I have been finding some decent ones on Amazon also. Here is a link to a SignWarehouse brand on amazon for $250 (no bidding): http://amzn.to/oslVOO. SignWarehouse sells decent/ quality products.

I tend to ramble on about vinyl cutters since I like them more than the photoresist method. But you might want to check out photoresist methods also since others like them better. Its quicker to make large amounts of the same stencil with the photoresist but is about the same with just making a few stencils on the vinyl cutter.

DO NOT BUY A SEIKI BRAND CUTTER NO MATTER WHAT YOU THINK OR DO. SEIKI brand cutters direct from the Manufacturer ANHUI SEIKI TECHNOLOGY are a piece of rubbish, Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY SEIKI BRAND. They do not reply to emails. Their customer service is non existent. You will do your money cold. They have many different accounts in fake names & salespeople. DO NOT TRUST THEM OR THE ANHUI SEIKI TECHNOLOGY COMPANY FROM CHINA. DONT BUY THEM FROM ALIEXPRESS OR DHGATE. REMEMBER THE NAME ANHUI SEIKI TECHNOLOGY FROM CHINA. STAY WELL CLEAR FROM THEM.
