His and Hers Glass Etching Kit to Make Your Own Gifts

Posted on June 13, 2019 by Eric Robert Posted in Blog Content, Other Glass Supplies 4 Comments

There is a new gift trend that is popular for couples, whether that be for newly weds, married anniversaries or just for girlfriend/boyfriends. Whether you sandblast etch, use acid cream or rotary engraving, you can use this idea. The idea is to etch glass drinkware with the words “His” on a glass and “Hers” on another.

If you etch glass for a living, this is one idea I want to share with you because it could be a in-demand market. I have seen glassware like this with the “His” being on a beer mug and the “Hers” being on a wine glass.

We recently released a new glass etching kit with the precut reusable stencils included.

The etching cream is provided with the kit. If you sandblast, you could just order the stencil sheet instead here.

The His & Hers Glass Etching Kit Contents

  • Glass etching cream in 2.8 oz bottle
  • 21 Reusable glass etching stencils: I like the His/Hers text and the Mustache/Lips designs the best because they can be used together. Other stencils are great for adding to spice it up with more character.
  • Brush
  • Illustrated instructions with free ebooks on CD-ROM

This can be ordered on Amazon here. Please let me know if you have any questions in the below comments.

I did a set of champaign flutes for our sons wedding. We used a Cricut cutter to do the vinyl stencil ( clear contact brand ) then used low pressure sand blasting to etch them. It worked very well and made a great personalized gift.

    Hi Eric,
Been at it 11 years now. Blasted everything in sight. Currently doing Southwest petroglyph designs on desert rocks and tiles. 3 active cabinets with PAB guns, and a large pass thru in rehab. I like your site, lots of good info for folks just starting out.
    Keep up the good work.
