Framed POW, Elephant & Castle Rotary Engravings

An elephant engraved design

Depicts an elephant design engraved on piece of framed glass.

I have always thought etching or engraving plain glass and framing it is some of the best things to work with and we featured a lot of them. So we wanted to feature Shelbie Mclemore’s awesome engravings done with a dremel rotary tool.

Then she shared one of a elephant with a unique design that I really liked and a Prisoner of War (POW) themed engraving shown below. The third one pictured is of a castle and I think this might be my favorite with all the intricate detail. Very cool!

The details she shared with us:

Photo #1: this is the first hard one I’ve done , African elephant
Photo #2 : pow
Photo #3: Castle village took me five days to finish.
All glasses done with a dremel rotary tool

WOW…..Beautiful … All of them. I etch photo frames as well, but I have not done that much work on one piece of glass. Is the glass extra thick? Do you have all of your etchings custom framed?

Those framed glass engraving are absolutely beautiful. I might pluck up the courage to try something on the glass that comes with a frame. I do engrave drinking glasses but very simple designs only. Your work is very inspiring.

@Ewell, I am not sure about any companies selling refurbished units, but I would recommend search for used ones on places like craigslist. I see them occasionally on there.
